Ms. Sheila Robinson the visionary founder of Young Ladies of Destiny, brings to the
organization a profound legacy of faith, resilience, and commitment to service, deeply rooted in
her Dallas, TX, origins. Born into a family where love was abundant and God’s presence a
guiding force, Sheila was profoundly influenced by the strong, spiritual matriarchs of her
family—her late mother, Shaunda Townsend, and grandmothers, Mary McKinney and Charlie
Ruth Clark. Their legacy of faith and strength imbued Sheila with a sense of purpose and a deep
compassion for others from an early age.
Despite the nurturing environment of her upbringing, Sheila navigated through the
challenges that marked her journey from adolescence to young adulthood. It was at the pivotal
age of 18 that she experienced a transformative encounter with Jesus Christ, an epiphany that
would illuminate her path and reveal her divine calling. This personal spiritual awakening
brought into focus Ms. Sheila’s innate passion for people, and it was this revelation that sowed the
seeds for what would later become Young Ladies of Destiny.
Armed with a newfound understanding of her purpose on this earth, Sheila dedicated
herself to outreach, evangelism, and service, driven by a heart that beats for the empowerment
and upliftment of young women. Her journey is a testament to the power of faith, the importance
of community, and the transformative impact of mentorship. Through Young Ladies of Destiny,
Sheila Clark is not just sharing her story; she’s creating a platform for countless young ladies to
discover their own destinies, equipped with strength, dignity, and wisdom, leaving people better
than she found them.

Proverbs 22:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
“6 Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.” and
“Bringing a personal touch back to a impersonal world.” These are just two of the affirmations I live by daily. Proverbs 22:6 is from my favorite book the Bible. The second affirmation is the business motto to Assistant to the Stars which Schlaura is the founder of.
Since 2004, Schlaura has been assisting small business owners helping them keep the line of communication open with their vendors, clients and potential clients. She also volunteered through school events, church out reach programs, back to school blow outs, makeup party’s and youth workshops to educate young ladies on age-appropriate make up application, skin care tips and knowing their worth.
Schlaura’s passion derives from working with the young ladies of today, developing their beauty on the inside as well as showing them how to naturally enhance their beauty on the outside.
Schlaura is a dedicated wife and mother of three. She has a associate degree in Medical Science, she’s a certified phlebotomist, medical insurance specialist and a proud 13 year distributor / liaison of the privately black owned Mocca Cosmetics. She’s a modern, motivator that believes in installing the values of self worth, self development, self recognition, self determination and self empowerment in young women of all creed and color.
